Every time we go a horse show,  someone inevitably asks,

"Is the big black horse for sale?",  and we always know they are talking about Eddie.

 

Edgar Allen Whoa and Vicky have been a team since Eddie was a gangly legged, long necked, short tailed, two year old.   He showed an enormous amount of promise at a very early age, but what he really needed was his two year old year to get stronger and simply "grow up".   Vicky recognized that and she was just the kinda gal who had the patience needed to wait out his two year old year and start him as a three year old.   Boy was it worth the wait.  That long legged two year old is now a gorgeous 16.2 hand handsome fella...............and a BIG WINNER to boot !!! 

 

Because Vicky runs her own business she doesn't get to show as often as she would like.  (Doncha just hate it when works gets in the way of a good time??)  But when they do hit the show pen they are certainly a power to reckon with.

 

They have earned four Superiors and ten Register of Merit Awards.  Eddie is as lovely in the hunter classes with his long sweeping trot as he is jogging around the pen on a draped rein with a western saddle on.  

 

And to top it off, in 07 they added Western Riding to their show schedule.
